A collaborative community

Our goal at TESS Research Foundation is to improve the lives of those impacted by SLC13A5 Citrate Transporter Disorder (also known as SLC13A5 Epilepsy). As a patient-led organization, one way we do this is by driving science forward. We foster a collaborative team environment and strive to make resources available to all scientists. We partner with academic labs, clinicians, biotech, and pharma with the goal of finding treatments for SLC13A5 Citrate Transporter Disorder.

We recognize that SLC13A5 Citrate Transporter Disorder has many names. For professional discussions, we have found SLC13A5 Citrate Transporter Disorder to be the most accurate reflection of the disorder. With families, we use SLC13A5 Epilepsy. To learn more about the name, please read the “What’s in a name?” section on our website.

We have consolidated many available resources on our website. If you have questions or need help finding resources for SLC13A5 Citrate Transporter Disorder research, please contact tanya@tessfoundation.org.
